Last Thursday morning, we met online for a new Café Conversation with the amazing Mary and Deborah, two members of the Women Speak French program. And one thing’s for sure: we spoke French… but we also laughed a lot! 😄
The theme of the day? Shopping.
But not your usual “textbook shopping”.
We talked clothes, trying things on, sizes that change depending on the brand, funny and very French expressions, and of course… those words we never seem to know when we need them — like “débardeur”! 😅
🎯 What they took away:
•Useful phrases to use in shops.
•The confidence to ask for a size, make a comment, or just interact in French.
But the best part? Seeing their smiles.
Because that’s what Women Speak French is all about:
