Don’t pronounce them all
French has silent endings.
Verb endings and plurals are often silent.
You see them. You don’t hear them.

The [é] Sound Can Be Written Many Ways
Rule 1 : Accents on “e” are not optional, they change the sound !
é → [é] (like café)
è → [ɛ] (like mère)
ê → [ɛ] (like forêt)
